chanrakter wrote:Okay, the raving Adele fan in me surfaces again! And why not? She is an immenesly talented singer and songwriter!

This is one of my favourite songs of hers. It's actually a cover of a Bob Dylan original. But for some reason, I like her version of it the best.

    The lyrics? Beauty! Sheer beauty!

So without further ado, Make You Feel My Love by Adele!

When the rain is blowing in your face
And the whole world is on your case
I would offer you a warm embrace
To make you feel my love

When the evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love

I know you haven't made your mind up yet
But I would never do you wrong
I've known it from the moment that we met
No doubt in my mind where you belong

I'd go hungry, I'd go black and blue
I'd go crawling down the avenue
    No, there's nothing that I wouldn't do
To make you feel my love

The storms are raging on a rolling sea
And on the highway of regret
The winds of change are blowing wild and free
But you ain't seen nothing like me yet

I could make you happy, make your dreams come true
    There ain't nothing that I wouldn't do
Go to the ends of the earth for you
To make you feel my love

Bob Dylan's Poetry with Adele's amazing Voice = Fantastic!!!

I know right! Sheer loveliness! Sometimes, this song makes me cry!

Know what? I think I might sing this song to whoever it is I end up with! Haha!

    Lovely, lovely song!

    Aww! Thanks!

I do cry easily! I think it's because my heart tends to reach out easily to people. I don't think it's a bad thing at all!

And true. In fact, crying shows you are strong enough to show your emotions.

That I cannot point out. She doesn't stay in one genre. But mostly she's into cool type, very laid back songs. Her voice is just immaculate. Haha!

Her voice is indeed immaculate! There are times when her voice makes me want to...yes... squeal with glee!

I also love how she's a testament for plus-sized girls that yes, they can fulfill their dreams too.

I dug out my music archives, landed on her album, and added it to my iPod. Her music again reminded me of Macy Gray, on a more solemn way (though Macy also has her share in that kind of sound).

Also, I was enjoying this rising Korean girl band named 2NE1 (they have one MV with Big Bang: Lollipop) and I noticed one of their members looks like Sandara Park. And with research I found out it was really her!

This song is currently stuck in my head right now.

It's called "You Make Me Feel Alright" by Raul Midon. Just watch the superb, funky, and rather original way he plays his guitar.

I also love hte jazzy beat of this song.

And Raul's voice and words? Just mesmerising and magical!

I'll post the lyrics later but for now...

    Airplanes
    Take you away again
    Are you flying
    Above where we live
Then I look up a glare in my eyes
    Are you having regrets
    about last night
    I'm not but I like
    rivers that rush in
    So then I dove in
    Is there trouble ahead
    For you the acrobat
    I won't push you
    unless you have a net

    You say the word
You know I will find you
Or if you need some time
    I don't mind
    I don't hold on
To the tail of your kite

    Idina Menzel - Brave

The amazing that is Idina Menzel has come up with her own album early last year after her years and years of broadway work. This is just one of my favorite songs from her album. The melody is immaculate while the lyrics are very inspiring, and the fact that she co-wrote the song heightens the truth that she is one immensely talented individual. Plus, the vocals is simply stunning! As expected of her, she does not disappoint.

Truly Idina (which is pronounced as Uh-dina) is the personification of the word aspirational!!!
