Questions about TLOS

I've been wondering about these things for months now:

1. Why did Ying place Tong's hands on her YOU-KNOW-WHAT? What was expected to come out of it, actually?

2. So... was Tong gay? bi? or confused? (I just want to see how'd everyone react to this question.)

3. Did Little Tong and family moved to a very far place? How come Mew and Tong never called each other?

1) hmmmm...parang siguro gusto nya subukan kung ano magiging reaction ni tong...in short eh tinetest nya kung bading nga ba talaga sya ^_^

as i understand it:

1.) maybe Ying is provoking Tong to harass her.And peech is right, ying is testing him if he is reaaly gay.

2.) obviously he is at the stage of confusion.

3.) Maybe its destiny that did not allow them to call each other.

4. Who spread the rumor that Tong's gay?

well to answer your question,

1. During the ying and tong confrontation since tong wants to prove to ying that he is not gay, remember he tried to kiss her, ying challenged him.

2. In my opinion Tong is a little confused. Definitely hes not gay and is not even in Love with Mew. Siguro kung ano man ang nararamdaman ni Tong for Mew was just intimate brotherly love (incest joke!), and siguro feeling niya si Mew lang ang nakakaintindi sa kanya for both of them lost someone in their lives that are very dear to them kaya ganun. Kung nagkiss man sila siguro its just instinct on the part of Tong, kasi naman, ikaw ba naman ang ipagcompose ng super duper sweet song ng taong special sayo baka ganun den ang maramdaman mo lalo na your sexually confused.

3. Yes, they did, Im not quite sure pero sa directors cut ata sinabi na magmomove sila sa Chiang Mai.... siguro after ilang years of waiting and searching there narealize ni Mama Sunee and Papa Korn (nakikimama-papa) na its about time to move on and go back to Bangkok kasi andun nga yung work nila, pero as we see nga naging alcoholic si Papa Korn, maybe sinisisi nya pa ren ang sarili nya.

IMO:

1. Actually d b nung una Ying was fighting her way off Tongs actions... then she just let Tong harras her and even grabbed Tong's hand and laid it on her breast.. i think it was not a challenge... it was her way of letting Tong realize that you cant prove anything just by doing something you are not.. in that particular situation Tong wants Ying to know that he is not gay because he kissed her forcefully... pero ang point ni Ying what does Tong's actions want to prove...


2. eh d b nga sabi... Love is an evolved form of emotional attachment that transcends sexual attraction of the physical form... parang ganun... i agree that Tong is not a gay coz if he is a gay he would have been attracted to other guys... but i beg to DISAGREE about Tong's love for Mew. Love ni Tong si Mew thats why he was that happy to let go of Mew.. to think na Mew was the most special nonrelated person to him... AND! to think he dumped Donut to indirectly say i love Mew.. and i think he does say in the movie that he love Mew.. May feeling n c Tong and it was just triggered when Mew composed a song for him... o cge nadala c Tong sa so-sweet song... pero come to think of it... cno ba nag aya nang dinner? Tong right?? and Tong even went shouting over Mew's doorstep just to know how is Mew... and HINDI PA SYA SEXUALLY CONFUSED during the party... he just got confused when things went wrong just after the party!


3. they never called each other because simply they got no communication at those age would you think to contact a friend that moved far from your place.. i think Mew was very sad that time (which is obvious in one of his song about parting..) and he said during the scene when Tong slept overnight at Mew's house, he said there i was having fun with my music...(not the exact line/s) i think his way of curing his loneliness... and walang reunion kung wlang parting...


4. who spread that Tong is gay... eh d c Donut-o.. hehe.. parang lalake lang ang name with the ohh... hehe.. kc c donut ung nakakita sa knilang dalaw eating ice cream... at d b nga nung one time when Tong and Donut was shopping eh nagulat c Donut, Tong was buying something expensive for a guy! haha...

di ko naman sinabi na hindi niya love si Mew, what i meant is hindi siya In-Love, he loved him but not In-Love in a romantic way, and narealize nya to at the last part of the movie, thats why nilinaw nya kay mew na he cant be his boyfriend but it doesnt mean he doesnt love him... anyway kanya kanyang interpretations den nman yun... peace!!!
