Did you notice that when Tong and Donut < the B!tch! > dated in the ice cream parlor, they ate from 2 different glasses? While when Tong and Mew ate there, they were sharing their ice cream... Wink

Welll, that could be true... but they say that the ice cream that Tong and Mew shared was one of the parlor's specialties, which mean it doesn't come cheap, plus, the look so sweet while sharing the ice cream together... < and how I wished I could be there eating the ice cream with them...! >

me too napansin ko rin yung color ng shirt nilang dalawa as in almost same color from the start of the movie..

cguru nga may symbolism yon..

green-mew
blue-tong

as of my research in color symbolism:GREEN=Great intelligence(talented), youth, generosity, sincerity, hope, August(match na match dba august band), harmony(love to sing), calming, creative intelligence, the ordinary.
Green is believed to be the luckiest of colors(he is so lucky that he met tong) ..that best describes in mew's character.

BLUE= men, calmness, trust, coolness, confidence, conservatism, loyalty, dependability, cleanliness,depression(felt the lost of tang), idealism, obscenity, tackiness, wisdom, royalty, strength, friendliness,truthfulness(being truth to his feeling to mew), love, sadness(family problem), the Virgin Mary(he always prayed b4 he sleep)
In many diverse cultures blue is significant in religious beliefs.that best describes tong's character in the movie....

ang napansin ko naman eh bakit kelangan pang nose yung missing part nung doll? hahahahah! medyo natawa lang kasi ako nung sa ending nung binigay ni Tong kay Mew yung nose lang! lol!

para syang nag bigay ng lollipop! lol!

Actually, though some says it could mean friendship between Mew and Tong, but according to Chookiat said it was Mew's life and to be more specific his loneliness... When they were kids, Tong came to his life and made his life bearable... Remember Mew was alone and being bullied by other kids... Mew and Tong became friends and Tong gave the incomplete doll... The doll and Tong's friendship made Mew happy for the time being... then came the separation... This made Mew aloof again and hide himself... Then after years, Mew and Tong met, and rekindled their old friendship... and much more... Now, Chookiat said that Mew being alone, aloof and a loner... made it difficult to be himself with others < August Band! >... just like the incomplete doll, Mew was missing something... At the end, Mew realizes what he was missing... Tong completed him... both literally and figuratively... literally in the sense that he was the one who gave Mew the nose to complete the doll... and figuratively because, he loved Mew... and thus filling the loneliness that Mew felt... That is why At the end Mew was thanking Tong for completing and loving him for who he is... Sad

But did you noticed that the nose that Tong gave wasn't a perfect fit to Mew's doll? If you notice it more carefully, the nose was actually a bit long and Chookiat that there was a symbol for that as well... and I know what it is! Wink

Because if you notice carefully Mew had a hard time inserting the nose to the doll itself... And if you check the final outcome, the nose protrudes enough to notice that it isn't a perfect fit... I will keep it to myself first for suspense... Wink

i was about to ask why didn't young mew and young tong asked those who cut down the tree (where the last piece of the doll was located) to wait and search for the nose instead of watching they tree cutters go?

but then it made sense with the explanation by dash.. hehe
