Tried to read the twilight saga because of all the hype, finished Twilight, the first book and all... but sad to say... it never got me hooked.
Beneath the cheesy-ness and the kilig-factor. I found it too shallow, overrated, and unimpressive. IMO it lacks a lot of creativity, originality and the drive for you to finish the book.
Though I can't say the same with the movie, since the only movie that I wathed was the first one, and I do not have plans of seeing the second one any time soon...
But I heard that New Moon the movie is actually better than Twilight.

imho, i did watch new moon but i actually felt asleep the first half of it...nabore ako masyado plus the fact that kirsten stewart CAN'T act! blame them directors or whoever has to teach them how to act. sabi ko nga, i just got interested when dakota fanning showed up, now that's acting.
but, to each his/her own, right? i tried asking some people ano nagustuhan nila sa movie despite my negative reactions, and they can't give me a good reason enough to convince me.

I concur. I think it's very over-rated. I mean it's your typical damsel in distress-knight story but with vampire elements. Nothing really that special.
