One of best recent movie produced in Korea. It was released last year, in hope of providing the audience, the cruel inhumane suffering that the North Korean have to endured in their daily life. Basically, the movie is a true life story about a North Korean man who crossed into the China border in hope of finding medicine for his ill wife; and eventually find ways to help both his wife and son escape North Korea and move to South Korea with him.
Watching this movie was very brutal because it is one of the depressing movie I have ever seem. Seeing how the people of North Korea suffered is very nerve wrecking and bring tear to my eye. Highly recommended for everyone to watch. Fair warning, this movie is not for the faint-heart and contain some violent scene.
