Mew is a sissy boy?

In the movie, people keep on calling Mew a sissy boy. I was wondering if anyone know why? Now, the answer don't have to be serious, it could be funny also.

-Here is why I think Mew is a sissy boy. In the movie, when Ying flipped his shoe, Mew asked his aunt (maid) to unflipped his shoe for him. Now, how pathetic is that? You got to be really weak to not be able to do something as simple as that. I wonder how he we would survive, if he doesn't have his aunt (maid) around. So, that is one of the reason why people considered Mew a sissy boy Smile

I have mixed emotions about this... By the way what do you mean sissy? Are you pertaining him to be a flambouyant gay? Or sissy as in literally a weakling?

Anyhow, my answer would be... Half of me believes that he is sissy boy...
< weakling! > well for obvious reasons, he really looks gay in the film.. his mannerisms, the way he talks, and he even flirts especially when Tong is around...

But other half of me thinks he is not... Why? It's because if you notice, he never showed any sign of vulnerability. Even his friend < Aex! > thought that he was happy just the way things were. The only times, he showed his vulnerability was with Tong... This is very evident on the frightening lonely scene... he showed Tong how scared and so alone he is... in fact did you notice that he lives alone, < apart from his auntie! which I firmly believe is but a helper > he is with no one in particular, no parents nor any other relatives... Secondly, he only cried in two scenes... both because of Tong, first when Tong left when they were still small and of course, the last part. He didn't even cry over his grandmother's death (Although this is debatable since, it might already been implied in the movie...)

I dun what kind of sissy they are refering to in the movie...so that why I let you decide...it could mean that he is weak or maybe that he is into guys... Smile

Reasons why they think he's a sissy(for me at least):
He's into music
He's not into sports
Many people love to stereotype, and more often than not, if you show signs of femininity people would label you as such(sissy).
