    first 2 movies was Christopher Columbus, now its David Yates.
    And not just Harry Potter, New Moon also has a different director than twilight.
    Does anyone know why they dont use the same director for long series films?

    chris columbus decided not to film HP 3 and the rest HP movies simply because he just want to spend quality time with his family...
