btw it could be a problem with your video card driver. Alin ba mas new? ung worms reloaded or RE5? Kasi sometimes updating your video card solves the problem.

The only update you shouldn't install is the one from Windows hahaha. Okay lang sa drivers, etc basta sa windows lang yung wag :p Ikaw lang naginstall ng os mo? or did you have it installed when you bought it? Bnew ba yung lappy? What's your os btw?

hahaha it's hard to give out instructions over the net without seeing eh hahaha and tbh i'm scared to install an os too. i normally have it done in the store na. but i think easy lang? hahaha..
i asked kasi if you had it installed wherever you bought it, they normally use a keygen program that makes your os appear genuine, though baka hindi sila ganon haha. and i think baka kaya naglalag yung worms mo kasi of the os. Though some games that work on xp work perfectly fine on win7, may exceptions pa din.
and yes btw, if a game needs DX9, it'll work fine with DX11
