Hello everyone!

In time for our first month-sary, which will be on February 1, we have launched a banner design contest. The winning design will be posted for the entire month of February. The prize is a customized Rank Title and his or her own choice of icon below his username. The whole theme of the forum will also be patterned after the design of the banner


Here are the mechanics:

-The theme of the banner should of course be Pchy. It should also bear the name of our forum - Witwisit Hirunwongkul Philippines.

- The dimension of the banner can be patterned on our current banner which is 800 x 240 pixels. Please be reminded that this was based on a 72 pixels/inch resolution which is the default setting of photoshop. You may opt to change the dimension as long as it does not exceed or be less than 50 pixels in both the length and the width of the current banner.

-Ideal colors are blue and green. However, you may use other colors as long as they are easy on the eyes (ex. not too dark nor too bright)

-The banner can be a still image or an animated one (ex. flash or .gif)

-All entries should be submitted on or before January 29, 2009 at 8 pm (Philippine timezone [GMT + 8 ]). This is to give us ample time to adjust the design of the whole forum. Entries submitted beyond the given date and time will no longer be entertained.

-You may submit as many entries as you like. Just as long as every entry meets the requirements and the deadline.

-Please e-mail your entries to whphiladmin@gmail.com and/or send a private message to us containing your entry. Please do not post them directly on this thread or anywhere in this forum.

-The moderating team will then decide on the winning design. The judges will be peech, starbooze, d@shie and atebugs.

-The winner will be notified both through e-mail and private message.

-Winning design might be altered to fit the width of the forum. We may also ask the designer to make some final changes or adjustments if we think this is necessary.

-Please remember to save a .psd file of your work.

-For any questions or further clarifications, please do not hesitate to reply to this thread.

di ko to magets.. so ibig sabihin 50x50x50 lang ung banner? hehehe..ano bang exact dimensions ng banner?

hahaha! ang dimensions kasi ay 800 pixels Length tapos 240 pix W...so pedeng hanggang 850 ot 750 (50 pix less or more)...ganun din sa W...pedeng hanggang 290 or 190...

i edited na po the mechanics...i added the dimension of the current banner

I still need sources..

the dimension you just added is too small. I mean there is a lot of empty white space around the banner. I think that 1010px × 260px or lower is suffice because it fit almost perfectly and would fill up those empty space. dont you agree?

hmmm...I will have to check that... cause i think it is also dependent on the type of monitor you are using and the resolution of the screen...but im not really sure about this..

hey, if in any case i didnt win.. can i still get the customized Rank title?
