WHP is looking for moderators who will keep the peace and order of this forum.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a official member of WHP
  
• Is able to go online at least once a week
  

To apply, send an email to whphiladmin@gmail.com answering the following questions:

• What board would you want to moderate?
  
• Why do you want to be a moderator of that board?
  
• How many times will you able to go online in a week?
  

The administrators shall deliberate on whether your application is approved or not. The decision will be announced as soon as possible.

If you have any questions/comments/clarifications, please do not hesitate to reply to this thread.

I wanna apply... I wanna apply!!! Yun nga lang di ko alam kung ano ang ginagwa ng isang moderator? I mean, I have a grasp of their purpose and all, but I wanna know what full responsiblities does the title moderatorentails? What are you're expectations from a moderator? and Do I really have to send a formal application e-mail to the address stated above?

yup yup! sending an e-mail would help us determine po yung "qualifications" nyo and if you are suited for the position

Basically, a moderator of a certain board checks whether all the threads inside the board are related to the topic of the board. He/she has the capability to move a certain thread if it is in the wrong board, merge two threads if they have the same topic and delete a certain thread if it is deemed as offensive and or meaningless.

Also, a moderator has the responsibility to maintain peace and order inside the board. When two or more members are having a word fight inside a certain thread, the moderator acts as a mediator and tries to settle the matters between the parties concerned.

Upon acceptance of application, there will be another orientation in order for the moderator to know his/her complete responsibilities.

As for the e-mail, it is to keep the confidentiality of the data and it will enable peech and me to have a copy since we both open the same account.

i wanna try...

medyo di lang ako familyar sa pagiging isang moderator...

though i'm always online... but not this time, kinda busy for the high school graduation... but i can still be online... kaya ko naman isingit ito habang nag gagawa ng mga school stuffs...
