Isang problem din kasi sa Philippines ay yung piracy. Kaya sa tingin ko limited lang yung mga asian groups (kpop, jpop) na nagpeperform or nagbebenta ng album dito.
Personally, ayaw ko na maging sobrang sikat ng August band dito. Ok na yung sikat lang, but not to the kpop level. Ayaw ko dumating ang panahon na makikita ko ang album nila sa bangketa, or worse, marinig 'to sa campaign jingle ng mga pulitiko.

in my opinion matagal pang panahon bago nila maabot ang level ng popularity ng kpop. not because hindi sila magaling, pero weather weather lang kasi yan. kasi alam naman ng lahat na nauna ang jpop. and now here comes kpop. darating din ang panahon ng thai-pop (i didn't use t-pop kasi may grupo sa pilipinas na nagfifeeling na pop group daw sila at hindi DAW sila nanggagaya. as if!) at sa tingin ko hindi rin gagamitin ng mga pulitiko ang jingle nila. first off, hindi nila maiintindihan ang meaning. hahaha. pangalawa, mahirap i-dub ang thai. pero kung melody ang kukunin nila madali lang yun. ang last problem lang makikita kong mahihirapan sila isolve yun ay kung san sila kukuha ng kopya ng kanta ng AB. hindi kasi bulgaran ang site na to masyado. XD

Tomoooo~ Feeling ko rin kasi magaling talaga ang kpop sa pagadvertise ng stuff nila. They are not afraid to cater to other countries like the Philippines. Primarily, jpop fan ako and I know na piling pili lang talaga yung countries na pinag-re-releasan nila ng albums. Profit oriented kasi sila e, so kung mababa ang fan base sa isang country, they don't risk at all. Baka sa thailand, minamaliit nila ang sarili nila and don't entertain the possibility na maging sikat sila dito. Siguro, pag naging mas aggressive pa ang thai entertainment industry, they'll be quite popular in the country too. Maganda rin naman kasi yung thai movies, magaganda yung plot, so I really hope they'll consider showing in local theaters, or release albums in local music stores.

yep. sa totoo lang ang pagkahilig kong magdownload ng movies ay nagstart dahil sa rak haeng siam. natuto ako maghanap ng mga movies from other asian countries. nasanay kasi ang mga pilipino na american movies lang ang panoorin.

Ganyan din yung ni-raise ko with our class the other day, na nagdidisband ang local groups because of kpop. But my kpop friends just told me na baka ganun lang ang naiisip kong cause kasi napapaligiran ako ng "kpoppers". Pero dahil magkapareho tayo ng iniisip, siguro nga totoo yun. Hayyy... I have nothing against kpop. Nakakatuwa din naman sila. I think the problems is with us Filipinos, masyado tayong nagpadala sa korean wave.

Piracy is normal I guess so wala dapat silang katakutan dito, people just want to buy cheaper things. Everything has its time so for now, k-pop pa tayo dito. Mukha ngang nalalaos na ang k-pop eh. Pero ayos na iyon basta let's support asian music and asian movies especially filipino made and thai

i also don't have anything against kpop. pero i'm not the only who speculates that kpop fans are the reason why the local artists in the philippines lose their interest in pursuing their careers. because if they still have their supporters they won't disband from their groups. hindi sa naninisi ako. and i don't really focus on the problem itself. so let's ponder on the solution. let's patronize our domestic performers. sayang kasi ang talent nung iba kasi sa ibang bansa lang sila sumisikat.

Puede naman tayong mangulit kay Charo Santos o di kaya'y kay wilma ng GMA. Puede rin tayong sumulat ng sabay sabay kay Boy Abunda para maibalita nya.
