This is a song from one of my favourite Brazilian artists, Djavan. It's called Delirio dos Mortais (English: Delusion of Mortals).
Don't judge it by its emo title though (Hahaha! Emo?!)! This song is all about praising the loveliness of Djavan's adoptive hometown of Rio de Janeiro (His hometown is Alagoas, a small town somewhere in the centre of Brazil). He speaks of his love for the city in such a lively beat (much like Rio itself).
An interesting lyric is when he says "People may say anything about you", meaning he recognises that Rio has its faults but still loves it enough to lavish it with praises.
I hope we feel this way about our country too. I hope that we can say "Yeah. People may say anything about the Philippines but I still love her and hope for the best for her."
The Portuguese lyrics are in the video already but here are the English ones:
